Kirsty Bullen has extensive experience in financial and operational leadership within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Finance & Operations at Opera North since July 2018, Kirsty previously held the position of Executive Director and Finance Director at The Tetley from January 2014 to July 2018. Prior to that, Kirsty was the Director at Russell Smith Chartered Accountants and an Audit Executive at Grant Thornton LLP. Additional roles include serving as a Board Trustee for both Yorkshire Youth and Music and Leeds Philharmonic Society, as well as experience as an Assistant Music Officer at Leeds International Concert Season and an Administrative Assistant at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Kirsty holds a Bachelor's degree in Music and Art History from the University of Leeds.
