Madeleine Boyd is a seasoned designer specializing in set and costume design for opera and theater. Current roles include designing for the British Youth Opera's Summer Opera at Opera Holland Park and Welsh National Opera's 'Blazers of Glory.' Additional projects include work with The Barber Institute of Fine Arts on 'Raising Icarus,' Leeds Playhouse's 'A Little Night Music,' and multiple productions for Opera North, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, and Buxton International Festival. Previous experience includes designing for Komische Oper Berlin and freelance projects at Opéra National de Lorraine and Opera Zuid. Madeleine Boyd holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Set and Costume Design for Performance from the University of the Arts London, earned between 1998 and 2001.
