Allison Swenson is a seasoned arts administrator with a diverse background in development and operations within prominent organizations. Currently serving as General Director at Opera Omaha since February 2023, Allison previously held multiple roles at The Santa Fe Opera, including Director of Development and Senior Major Gifts Officer from January 2016 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as Event and Donor Relations Manager at Santa Fe Chamber Music and Assistant to the General Director at The Santa Fe Opera. Additional roles at The Glimmerglass Festival, including Artistic Operations Manager and various internship positions, further demonstrate a strong foundation in the performing arts. Allison holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Ithaca College, completed in 2007, with an Outside Field in Integrated Marketing Communications.
