Jessica Bejarano is a highly accomplished conductor with extensive experience in various prestigious musical organizations. Currently serving as Cover Conductor for the San Francisco Symphony and Scholar in Residence at the San Francisco Opera since June 2023, Jessica also holds the position of Founder, Music Director, and Conductor at the San Francisco Philharmonic since August 2019. Additional roles include Artist in Residence at Youth Orchestra Salinas, Assistant Conductor at Opera Parallèle, and Music Director and Conductor for the ELM Youth Orchestra, all commencing in July 2019. Jessica has been Music Director and Conductor for the UHS Chamber Orchestra at San Francisco University High School since August 2016 and previously served as Associate Conductor for the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony and Instrumental Music Faculty at Jewish Community High School of the Bay. Educationally, Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Conducting from the University of California, Davis, a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Wyoming, and an Associate of Fine Arts in Music Education from Casper College.
