Millie Hiibel has a diverse work experience in the field of costume design. Millie started their career as a Costume Designer for Monkey Boys Productions in 2008 and worked there until 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Costume Designer for Act II Playhouse from 2005 to 2012. In 2011, Millie joined Opera Philadelphia as a Costume Director and continues to work there. Millie has also worked as a Costume Designer for several other companies, including History Making Productions, Enchantment Theatre Company, and Portopera. Additionally, Millie has held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania since 2010. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Costume Designer at Eastern University. Overall, Millie Hiibel has a strong background in costume design and has gained extensive experience in various roles within the industry.
Millie Hiibel pursued their education at the University of Washington, Seattle from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Theater. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2002, they attended Temple University, where they completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Costume Design.
