Thaddeus Strassberger is a seasoned Stage Director and Scenic Designer with extensive experience in prominent opera houses and theatrical productions. Currently serving at Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège and Oper im Steinbruch, Thaddeus's portfolio includes roles at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Foundation and LA Opera, where noteworthy productions include "I due Foscari," "Nabucco," and "La Clemenza di Tito." Thaddeus's leadership was evident as Creative Director for the Riyadh Season Opening Parade in 2021, showcasing skills in concept development and collaborative production. Additional accolades include stage direction for the Chinese premiere of Puccini's "La Fanciulla del West" and multiple nominations for Golden Mask Awards at Ekaterinburg State Theatre. Thaddeus holds degrees from Accademia Teatro alla Scala and The Cooper Union, blending engineering and art history in a unique approach to scenic design.

Every year, nearly 10K people pass through the doors of the Opera to hire a space, have a meal on stage or attend a performance in a business seat. Our range of made-to-measure events is appreciated by players in all sectors of economic activity, and our constantly expanding packages are aimed at local, national and international audiences alike. For more than a decade, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège has been working for and with young people! Through a whole series of artistic decisions (participatory performances for children and toddlers) but not only (ultra low prices for under 32s, etc.). The aim? To attract young people and create the audiences of tomorrow!
