Bayo Olupohunda

Bayo Olupohunda is an accomplished editorial leader with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as Editor In Chief at Opera since October 2019, Bayo oversees the execution of editorial strategy and cultivates relationships with freelance writers and key media figures. Previously, as Editor in Chief at Legit.ng from June 2016 to October 2019, Bayo managed the editorial team, supervised newsroom operations, and spearheaded the expansion of the Hausa news platform. Bayo's editorial career also includes a role at PUNCH Newspaper, where as Editor in Chief and Op-Ed Columnist, important political issues were addressed through compelling commentary.
