David Christensen

David Christensen is an experienced data scientist currently working at Operation HOPE since January 2023, following a role at Zions Bancorporation from April 2022 to January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a data science intern at Sorenson Impact, where David coordinated the creation of an interactive dashboard for higher education statistics and developed functions for publishing an R package on CRAN. At the University of Utah, David worked as a data science consultant, advising on admissions policies and leveraging machine learning models to analyze student outcomes. Early in David's career, an internship at Utah Foundation involved data analysis of water usage in Utah, contributing to award-winning research. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah, completed in May 2022.
