Operation Kindness
Derilyn Turner_Cox currently serves as the Foster/Intake Coordinator at Operation Kindness, a position held since May 2008. Prior experience includes roles as Bid Facilitator and Senior Researcher at Reed Construction Publication from February 2003 to December 2004, where responsibilities involved researching construction contracts and engaging with officials for project planning and development. Additionally, Derilyn was the Director of Daycare at Freedom Early Learning Center from May 2002 to February 2003, overseeing operations, financial management, and staff scheduling. Educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant from South Oak Cliff High School and community colleges from 1976 to 1978.

Operation Kindness
Our mission is to create a kinder world for pets and the people who love them by providing lifesaving care, innovative programs and community resources. Operation Kindness is a pioneer in Texas for assisting animals in need of veterinary care, companionship and most of all, a home. We operate a lifesaving animal shelter in Carrollton, TX. In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
