Jarryd Botha

Jarryd Botha has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Jarryd started their career as a Project Accountant and Finance Analyst at DAI in 2009, where they worked until 2012. Jarryd then joined The QED Group, LLC as a Senior Accountant, staying with the company until 2014. Jarryd then worked at Chemonics International as a Manager - Finance and Compliance Review from 2014 to 2016.

In 2017, Jarryd took on different roles at BroadReach, including Finance, Grants and Compliance Specialist and Finance and Admin Manager for the Kenya RAD Project USAID. Later in 2017, they served as a Finance Manager at mothers2mothers. In 2018, Jarryd joined EngenderHealth as a Financial Management and Administration Specialist, where they worked until 2021.

In 2021, Jarryd became the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership. Currently, they are working at Operation Smile as the Regional Finance Director for Africa. Jarryd will transition into the role of Associate Vice President Global Finance starting in July 2023.

Jarryd Botha completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Florida State University from 2005 to 2009. Jarryd then pursued a Master's degree in Development Finance at the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town starting from 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Risk management from Harvard Business School in 2018. Jarryd also holds a certification in Business Risk Management from the University of Cape Town, which was obtained in 2017.
