Lynn Stepovich Carter

Lynn Stepovich Carter is an accomplished executive recruiter with extensive experience in talent acquisition and executive search. Currently serving as the Global Head of Executive and Strategic Search at Confluent since July 2019, Lynn has successfully built a high-performing team to identify and hire top leadership talent, contributing to the company's growth post-IPO. As an LP at Operator Collective, Lynn collaborates with over 200 exceptional tech executives to invest in and enhance the next generation of enterprise technology. Prior roles include Director of Talent Acquisition at Netflix, where Lynn facilitated significant growth in the company’s engineering talent, and founder of The Stepo Group, an executive search firm specializing in senior software talent. Lynn’s career began as a Senior Technical Staffing Manager at The Trattner Network, where recruitment efforts played a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion. Lynn holds an MA in American History from Stanford University and a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
