Qian Zhang

Qian Zhang is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently a Limited Partner at Operator Collective since January 2018, Qian Zhang has also served on the Board of Directors for AVEVA and NeoPhotonics from January 2019 to December 2023 and January 2017 to December 2022, respectively, contributing to management and audit committees. Previously, Qian Zhang held the position of Vice President of Engineering and Product for Google Cloud from January 2017 to December 2021, overseeing large-scale product development initiatives. Additionally, as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aurora from January 2015 to December 2019, Qian Zhang led software development for the company's autonomous driving product, Aurora Driver. Qian Zhang holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
