Mallory Harrower is a Clinical Operations Associate at Ophelia. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Clinical Assitant/Technician at Teton Outpatient Services-Surgery Center from June 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they were trained on the job to perform the duties associated with surgical technician such as sterilizing instruments, creating surgical instrument packs for each surgery, and – most importantly – working directly with the surgeon to management operative tools while in surgery. This position allowed their to obtain expertise when working with surgical tools and time in the OR observing surgeries. Mallory also helped prepare the operating room and patients for surgery. This includes hooking patients up to monitors, bringing them into and out of the operating room, cleaning up and setting up for the next operation, and preparing surgical packs for each surgery.

From January 2019 to January 2020, Harrower worked as an Academic Associate at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, they conducted research on the effects of epigenetics on child development.

From August 2019 to June 2020, Harrower worked as an independent researcher at the Heller Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In this role, they conducted research on the epigenetic mechanisms underlying neurological disorders.

Mallory Harrower has a Master of Science in Biomedical Science and Biotechnology from the University of Colorado Denver. Mallory also has a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, Chemistry, and Environmental Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Finally, they are a Wilderness First Responder and Emergency Medical Technician from NOLS.

They work with Emma Draper - Clinical Training Manager, Franco Marzella - Clinical Operations Manager. Mallory Harrower reports to Emily Behar, Director of Clinical Operations.
