Kyle Welsby

Kyle Welsby is an experienced software engineer with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Kyle is currently employed at Ophelos as a Senior Software Engineer since June 2023. Prior to Ophelos, they worked as an Independent Software Contractor at MeKyle Ltd since May 2013.

From November 2022 to May 2023, Kyle was a Senior Software Engineer at Shopify, specifically in the Merchant Services - Shipping Admin department. Kyle Welsby has a diverse education history. Kyle first attended Verdin High School from 1998 to 2003, although they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Afterwards, they pursued a National Diploma in Multimedia from Mid-Cheshire College, completing it from 2005 to 2007. Kyle then went on to Staffordshire University, where they earned a Bsc Hons degree in Digital Film & Post Production Technology from 2007 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Kyle obtained a Diploma for I.T Practitioners (System Support) + Advanced from City & Guilds in September 2003. In November 2008, they successfully completed B Company at Birmingham University Officers Training Corps. Kyle also obtained basic knowledge in JavaScript from HackerRank in September 2020 and intermediate knowledge in Rest API from the same institution in October 2020. Kyle further enhanced their language skills by studying Japanese Language at Cactus Language School starting from 2019, with no specified end year.
