Olivier Lobey

Olivier Lobey currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Roam, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Olivier was Head of Powertrain Engineering at Greaves Electric Mobility from May 2023 to April 2024 and Technical Lead for the EV Lab at Huawei between March 2020 and April 2023, focusing on market analysis and start-up initiatives. Olivier's earlier experience includes leading powertrain software and calibration at BYTON from October 2017 to February 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of vehicle control unit hardware and software for electric vehicles across multiple markets. Before that, Olivier worked as Director of Powertrain Technology & Innovation at Continental in China, concentrating on new electrification solutions and energy storage management. Olivier holds a Master of Science in Petroleum & Engines from IFP School and a Master of Science in Engineering & General Management from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
