Hisham Iddris

Hisham Iddris has been working in the software engineering field since 2013. Hisham began their career as an intern at the Electricity Company of Ghana Limited in 2013, where they diagnosed system and network problems and solved hardware and software problems for end users. In 2014, they moved to the National Trust Holding Company as a Software Engineer, where they developed a Customer Relationship Management and Commodities Trading and retail investments modules with WYF, an in-house PHP Framework, enforced SSL communication via TLS on an email server, and implemented a password security policy. In 2017, they joined Hubtel as a Software Engineer, developing secure front-end payment applications using modern Javascript frameworks/libraries such as Angular 2 and React, as well as developing secure and robust back-end solutions and APIs in Laravel and C#. In 2020, they began working at both Andela and OPIE Software as a Software Engineer. Hisham currently works at Perpetua as a Frontend Engineer.

Hisham Iddris attended the University of Ghana, Legon from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the Presbyterian Boys High School from 2001 to 2003.
