Jorge Mejia

Jorge Mejia has over 13 years of work experience. Jorge is currently employed at OPIE Software as an Administrative Process Engineer (Strategic Programs). Prior to that, they worked at Gainesville Prosthetics from 2018 to 2020 as an Orthotist & Prosthetic Assistant and Resident Orthotist & Prosthetist. From 2011 to 2018, they were the Owner/manager of JCM Commerce LLC. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at General Physics as a Consultant Engineer and Associate Systems Engineer. Jorge also had an Engineering Internship at Titusville, FL in 2007. During their time at General Physics, they supported various launch facilities, coordinated interorganizational inspections and reporting, ran visual inspections and prepared safety data reports, and performed detailed calculations for ground support equipment.

Jorge Mejia received their High School Degree from Robinson School in 2004. Jorge then attended Florida Institute of Technology, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics from St. Petersburg College. Finally, in 2018, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing.
