Alex Jones

Alex Jones has worked in various roles since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, and again from 2015 to 2019, they were a Sales Associate at Home Depot, where they learned how to follow instructions and exceed company expectations. Alex received multiple Associate of the Month awards and even an Associate of the Year award. As Head Cashier, they supervised and led all cashiers in the store, making sure that company expectations were met, and managing time and resources efficiently. From 2019 to 2022, they were an Instructor at Bottega University, where they taught students full stack programming, from front end design with HTML, CSS and SCSS, and Javascript, to back end design with Python, SQL and non-SQL databases, and APIs. Alex also built out hands-on projects with their students using libraries such as React and Flask, and tools such as Git, Github, and environment control. Alex worked one-on-one with students to mentor and assist them, answering questions and helping fix bugs, as well as providing resources to help them study further. Since 2022, they have been a QA Developer at Opiniion Inc.

Alex Jones attended Bottega Career Services from 2019 to 2019, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Full Stack Programming. Alex also attended Utah Valley University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science.
