Opioid Response Network
Karen Anderson Oliver, Ph.D. is an experienced professional in the field of public health and substance use disorder treatment. Currently serving as Honorary Associate Faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy since January 2024, Karen also holds the position of President at KEAO Consulting LLC and has extensive involvement with the Opioid Response Network as an Advanced Implementation Specialist and consultant. With a strong focus on culturally centering the delivery of medications for opioid use disorder in American Indian and Alaska Native communities, Karen has contributed as an implementation consultant and facilitator for several organizations, including the Veterans Health Administration and the University of New Mexico. Karen's education includes an AB in Biology from Princeton University and a Ph.D. along with a Master of Public Health from Yale University.

The Opioid Response Network is a diverse group of individuals and over 46 national organizations working collaboratively to address the opioid crisis and stimulant use across the country. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration-funded initiative provides free training and education in evidence-based practices in the prevention, treatment, recovery and harm reduction of substance use disorders.
