Rulfo Hernandez

Rulfo Hernandez, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Rulfo is currently serving as the VP of Finance at OPKO Health, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer - International Operations and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at AST SpaceMobile from September 2021 to January 2022 and February 2021 to October 2021, respectively. Rulfo also held key positions at OPKO Health, Inc. including Chief Accounting Officer, Treasurer and Global Corporate Controller from July 2020 to February 2021, and Corporate Controller from May 2014 to July 2020. Before joining OPKO Health, Inc., they worked at PwC as a Senior Manager from September 2006 to May 2014, and as a Senior Associate at PwC Venezuela from September 2002 to September 2006. Rulfo Hernandez brings a strong track record of financial expertise to their current and previous roles.

Rulfo Hernandez, CPA, attended the UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello for an unknown period of time. Later, they pursued a Master of Accounting degree from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU. In addition, Rulfo holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant in both Venezuela and the State of Florida.
