Behzad Bashokooh

Behzad Bashokooh is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Software Development Team Lead and Petroleum Engineer - Software Developer at Opla Energy since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Drilling Engineer at SeaLand Engineering and Well Services, where Behzad managed drilling operations for multiple wells in the Bibi-Hakimeh oilfield and facilitated directional drilling operations in the South Azadegan oilfield. Previous positions include Directional Drilling Field Engineer roles at Fanavaran Bahr Company and National Iranian Drilling Company, where Behzad coordinated numerous drilling operations across various oilfields. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Tehran.
