Mercedes Seliman is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles across the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Opla Energy since April 2021, Mercedes has previously held the position of Accounting Manager - Drilling Canada at Trinidad Drilling & Ensign Energy Services, where responsibilities included preparing and analyzing month-end entries, managing P&L accounts, and reconciling various accounts. Mercedes's career began at Savanna Energy as a Corporate Accountant, focusing on financial reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Mercedes's academic foundation in Accounting and Finance was established at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007.
