Tate Walker is an Associate Principal and Director of Sustainability at OPN Architects, where leadership is provided for projects and initiatives across four offices, supported by a foundation in architectural design, program management, and technical guidelines for high-performing buildings. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the AIA 2030 Commitment, aimed at guiding firms toward carbon-neutral goals, and President of AIA Wisconsin. Tate Walker also contributed to the Energy Center of Wisconsin as a Senior Project Manager and held various advisory and leadership positions within the American Institute of Architects and the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance. Walker’s academic background includes a BA in Architecture and English Literature from the University of Washington.
