Ella Martin

Ella Martin has diverse work experience in the education field. Ella started their career in 2017 as a Debate Mate Mentor, teaching debating lessons in two secondary schools. In 2018, they joined Teach First and completed the Teach First Trainee Programme until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Primary School Teacher at South Harringay Junior School, teaching children from diverse backgrounds. Ella managed a large workload and completed the Trainee programme alongside their full-time teaching responsibilities. In 2021, Ella worked as a Primary Teacher at Opogo, gaining experience in different schools and communities. Ella then joined Just Teachers in 2021 as a Primary Teacher until 2022. Currently, in 2023, Ella is working as a Talent Consultant and Talent Acquisition at Opogo.

Ella Martin completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Nottingham from 2015 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Education at UCL from 2018 to 2020.
