Sharad Baronia

Sharad Baronia is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Risk, Pricing, and Data Services at Oportun since April 2019, Sharad has a track record of driving high-performance solutions, notably leading teams at NCR Corporation as a Senior Software Consultant and Nexa Technologies Inc as a Senior Lead Software Engineer. Earlier in the career, Sharad held key roles at Ericsson Inc., HCL Technologies, and Fujitsu Telecommunications, where responsibilities included mentoring, technical consulting, and system integration. Sharad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College and a certification in Project Management from UC Irvine.
