Charelle Hammond, sHRBP, has over 30 years of experience in the field of human resources. Charelle started their career in 1994 as an HR Generalist/Benefits Manager at Seven Worldwide, Inc, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Senior HR Generalist/Benefits Manager at Ibbotson Associates. In 2006, Charelle joined Legacy Marketing Partners as a Senior HR/Benefits Manager and eventually became the Director of Human Resources, a role they held until 2019. In 2019, they joined OppFi as a Senior Manager, People Business Partner, and later transitioned into the role of Director of People Business Partners and Workplace Experience in January 2022. Charelle's expertise lies in designing, administering, evaluating, and modifying benefit plans and policies, managing workers comp and FMLA, and working with brokers and insurance vendors to enhance employee quality of life.
Charelle Hammond, sHRBP (She/Her) has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Governors State University. Charelle has also completed an sHRBP Certificate from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in January 2020. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy, Strategic Thinking, Unconscious Bias, Influencing Others, Succeeding in a New Job, and Performance Management: Setting Goals and Managing Performance. Charelle has also pursued other certifications such as the Advanced HR Generalist Certificate Program - HR in Alignment, FMLA Compliance Certification, and HR Generalist Certificate Program.
