Karina Katsumata

Karina Katsumata is a highly skilled Senior Product Designer with extensive experience in creating user-centered designs and improving design processes across various companies. Currently at Oppizi since February 2025, Karina focuses on understanding business contexts to enhance design decisions. Previously, at levva from July 2021 to October 2024, Karina played a key role in mentoring the design team, leading research, usability tests, and collaborating with developers. Karina’s contributions have significantly impacted user engagement and satisfaction, including the development of a successful app at Ticket, which garnered millions of users and high ratings. Karina's design career began as a graphic design intern, followed by roles in UX design and product design, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Design from Universidade de São Paulo and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Management from the Southern Institute of Technology.
