Kurt King

Kurt King is a partner at Opportune, where they are responsible for the company's global oil trading systems. Prior to joining Opportune, Mr. King was the director of IT for the Houston office of Barclays Capital. Kurt also founded Entequity, LLC, a successful custom application development and process improvement consultancy focused on energy and healthcare customers. Mr. King began their career as a manager at Accenture, where they rose to the position of senior manager before joining BSI Consulting as a senior manager. Kurt returned to Accenture in 2001 as a senior director of commercial applications before joining Duke Energy Corporation as the senior director of commercial applications in 2001.

Kurt King studied statistics, analytics, and supply chain optimization at Louisiana State University and earned a bachelor's degree.
