Margot McAloon-Parker is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and leadership. Currently serving as a Director and Team Lead Workforce Immigration Officer for the Government of New Brunswick from February 2022 to August 2024, Margot previously held the position of Diocesan Director of Religious Education and Regional Coordinator for the Diocese of Saint John from February 2012 to February 2022. Margot's earlier roles include teaching at the Strait Regional School Board and various positions at the University of New Brunswick, where responsibilities included directing and coordinating educational initiatives. Margot began career as a Curriculum Developer at New Brunswick Community College and as a Program Coordinator at Memramcook Institute/Athene. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in History and Political Science from St. Thomas University, ESL Certification from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Maine at Machias.
