Lawrence Buwembo

Lawrence Buwembo is the Head of Risk at OPPORTUNITY BANK UGANDA LTD, overseeing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with global risk management practices. Lawrence also serves as the Money Laundering Control Officer and Data Protection Officer. With a background in project management and fraud risk management at Centenary Bank, Lawrence has extensive experience in implementing risk frameworks and overseeing internal control activities. Lawrence has a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Economics.
