Owen Amanya

Owen Amanya, MBA, B COM, FCCA, CPA (U), currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Opportunity Bank Uganda Ltd. Previously, Owen held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the same organization. Prior to their roles at the bank, Owen worked as an Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Uganda, where Owen gained extensive audit and financial reporting experience. Owen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, along with various other professional certifications and degrees in accounting and finance. At Makerere University, Owen was actively involved in student leadership as the Finance Minister of the Student's Guild.
