Heidi Modin is a Speech Language Pathologist at The Opportunity Council since September 2021, where services focus on providing home-based therapy for children from birth to age 3 and their families. Prior experience includes a role as a Speech Language Pathologist Student Clinician at Island Hospital in 2021 and serving as a Speech-Language Clinic Assistant and Graduate Student Clinician at Western Washington University from 2019 to 2021, managing diagnostic schedules and providing diverse therapeutic services. Previous roles also include a practicum at Arlington School District, volunteering at the University of Washington Autism Center, and working as a Preschool Teacher and Administrator at Interlake Child Learning Center. Heidi holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and two Bachelor's degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences (BS) and Human Development - Early Childhood Education (BA).
