Khalid Sarwary has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Khalid started their career at Kabul Bank in 2007, where they served as a Customer Service Representative and later as a Risk Management and Compliance Officer until 2010. In 2011, Khalid joined DAI as a Credit Management Units Manager and held this position until 2014. Khalid then worked at the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) as a Credit Administration Manager from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Khalid joined Opportunity Finance Network as a Credit Analyst and later moved up to the role of Investment Officer in 2019. Currently, they serve as the Senior Investment Officer at Opportunity Finance Network.
Khalid Sarwary holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Kardan University. Prior to obtaining their MBA, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Nangarhar University. In addition to their formal education, Khalid has also earned certifications in Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate I and Excel Skills for Business: Essentials from Coursera in July 2018 and May 2018, respectively.
