Meraj Husain

Meraj Husain has a diverse work experience in the finance sector. Meraj started their career in 2013 as a Research Associate at MicroCapital Group, where they conducted market intelligence and research on the microfinance, digital finance, and payments sectors. Meraj provided in-depth reports on industry trends and activities, some of which were published in the organization's trade paper.

In 2016, Husain joined MIX as an Economic Analyst. In this role, they led an impact evaluation of financial service providers' social and financial performance goals and conducted regression analysis on FSP operations. Meraj also co-authored a report titled "Where Good Intentions Meet Good Business Practice."

From 2016 to 2022, Husain worked at the IFC - International Finance Corporation as a Senior Associate. Meraj managed portfolio and strategy reviews for MSME financing, digital financial services, and fintech.
