Lydia Baldridge Meier has been with Opportunity International since 2004 in a number of roles. She currently manages the team responsible for donor trips, data, research, donor records and correspondence, proposals, and reports. Lydia is also responsible for fundraising campaigns for the organization, having played a leadership role in five campaigns including the $126 million Banking on Africa Campaign. Her responsibilities bridge between program and donor relations. Lydia’s background is in international development.
A missionary kid born in Zambia, Lydia has lived abroad and traveled much of her life, including a position at the International Institute for Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Policy and French from Rice University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
