Thomas Malunda

Thomas Malunda is an accomplished agricultural professional with extensive experience in farmer support services, agricultural finance, and sustainable farming practices. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Manager for Farmer Support Services at Opportunity International, Thomas develops strategies to enhance last mile farmer support across Africa. With a background as the Agricultural Finance Curriculum Manager, significant contributions include revamping curricula to improve financial linkages for farmers. As the founder of MT Agro Eco, Thomas promotes sustainable farming communities. Previous roles include co-founding T&G Organic, managing crop business development at Inputi INC, and leading climate change initiatives at Climate Change Institute Uganda. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Agroecology from Uganda Martyrs University and has furthered education in agricultural finance and digital learning design.
