Sophia Huynh

Sophia Huynh has over eight years of experience in health care and community engagement, serving as a Continuous Quality Improvement Administrative Assistant at Operation Samahan and Project Coordinator for STRIVE, San Diego! since May 2015. At Operation Samahan, Sophia contributes to developing policies for healthcare optimization, analyzing patient feedback for improvement, and participating in chronic disease management initiatives. In the role at STRIVE, Sophia has successfully recruited partners, implemented Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) systems to enhance access to fresh produce, and developed educational materials on nutrition and health. Additionally, Sophia has managerial experience at Ahi Sushi & Grill, overseeing operations, staff training, and marketing efforts, while holding a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from San Diego State University.
