HR Director - Americas at OpSec Security

Orla Allison has had a diverse and extensive career in human resources. Orla most recently worked at OpSec Security as the HR Director for the Americas, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of People at O3 World from 2021 to 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Orla worked at Haller Enterprises, Inc. as the Human Resources Director, where they led a team of HR professionals and developed strategic benefit and compensation plans. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager at Conestoga Wood Specialties from 2013 to 2016, responsible for directing all plant HR activities. Orla also gained experience at Armstrong World Industries as an HR Manager and Benefit Specialist, GTECH Corporation as an Opportunity Capture Manager, EG&G Incorporated as a Human Resources Generalist, The Learning Company (Softkey International) as a Human Resources Generalist, and SPHYNX Pharmaceuticals (Eli Lilly) as a Human Resources Administrator. Throughout their career, Orla has demonstrated expertise in various areas of HR, including employee experience, performance management, recruitment, and benefits administration.

Orla Allison has a diverse and extensive educational background. In 1997, they attended Bentley University, where they obtained a Technical Diploma in Human Resources. Orla then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of Rhode Island and completed their studies in 2010.

Continuing their education, Orla enrolled in Villanova University in 2011 and completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Development in 2013. This further enhanced their expertise in the field.

Additionally, Orla has obtained multiple certifications to augment their credentials. In 2013, they received their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2014, they earned the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM. Orla went on to renew their SHRM-CP certification in 2018 and again in 2021 through the same institution. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying updated and proficient in the field of Human Resources.
