Christian Annus

Christian Annus currently serves as Head of Corporate Communications at opta data Gruppe since August 2023. Previously, Christian held the title of Head of Global Internal Communications at DB Schenker from August 2017 to August 2023, where responsibilities included developing global internal communications strategies, leading change communications, and managing public relations for the Board of Management. Prior roles include Director of Change Communications at DB Schenker, Senior Project Manager Corporate Communications at TARGOBANK, and Communications Manager at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, among others. Christian began a career in journalism as a freelance journalist at Rheinische Post Düsseldorf and gained early experience in communications and marketing at Van Schering Brand'n Comms. Christian holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Science, Politics, and Psychology from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
