Turab Asghar CPA CGA, FCCA is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Controller at Opta Group since September 2019, Turab has also held the position of Assistant Controller. Previous roles include Independent Consultant at Terrapure Environmental and Chief Accountant at Rain Carbon Inc. Turab's extensive experience spans various organizations, including ArcelorMittal Dofasco and Canadian General Tower, with progressive responsibilities including financial reporting, analysis, and internal auditing. Educational qualifications include ACCA from the UK and Certified General Accountant from Canada, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a B-com in Accounting from the University of the Punjab.
