Amanj Sherwany

Amanj Sherwany is an engineering manager at Optable. Prior to joining Optable, Amanj worked as a senior software developer at Wise Systems, Inc., where they made sense of massive data sets for better targeting. Amanj also served as an engineering domain lead of reporting and insights at Samsung Ads and as a lead software developer - data at AdGear. Amanj began their career as a software developer intern at PartsAvatar.ca. Amanj has also worked as a PhD student at USI Università della Svizzera italiana and as a teacher at Salahaddin University. Amanj holds a M.Sc. from Uppsala University and a PhD from USI Università della Svizzera italiana.

Amanj Sherwany attended Salahaddin University-Erbil, where they received their BSc in Software Engineering. Amanj then attended Uppsala University, where they received their M.Sc. in Computer Science. Finally, they attended USI Università della Svizzera italiana, where they received their PhD in Computer Science.

They work with Antoine Niek - Senior Software Developer, Matthieu Beauché - Senior Software Developer, and François St-Jacques - Engineering Manager. Their manager is Jérémie Lasalle Ratelle, CTO.
