Luis Gutierrez

Luis Gutierrez is an experienced engineer with a strong background in verification and software engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Verification Engineer at Optalysys since April 2024, Luis has previously held positions at Synopsys Inc. as Staff Design Engineer, where responsibilities included porting verification scripts and leading a new verification team. Experience spans multiple companies, including Moortec Semiconductor Limited, Cray Inc., and NVIDIA, focusing on areas such as SoftIP verification, software development for high-performance computing, and top-level CPU/SOC verification. Luis holds an MSc in Microelectronics from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Electronics Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
