Christie Lipkie Kent has a diverse work experience in finance and consulting. Christie currently serves as the CFO at OptConnect since 2019. Prior to that, they were the CFO at SirsiDynix from 2016 to 2019. Before entering the corporate world, they worked at Lipkie Consulting as a Principal and Consultant from 2011 to 2016, providing financial and strategic leadership to various corporations. Christie also served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at AdvancedMD from 2009 to 2011, where they played a key role in strategic planning and the company's acquisition by ADP. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Vice President of Corporate Finance at MacFarlane Partners from 2002 to 2008, and Vice President of Energy and Power Investment Banking and Global Project Finance at Banc of America Securities from 1998 to 2002. Christie began their career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) as a Senior Consultant from 1993 to 1996. Throughout their career, Christie has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, M&A, operational analysis, and financial risk management.

Christie Lipkie Kent completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of Iowa from 1989 to 1993. Christie then pursued further education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from 1996 to 1998.
