Parker Christiansen, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and accounting. In 2018, Parker worked as an Independent Contractor for Anthem Logistics, leading a team of 5 contractors in fulfilling a contract with Walmart for overnight store apparel section reinvention. Parker's exceptional leadership skills resulted in increased productivity and completion of each store in half the standard time. From 2018 to 2019, Parker worked as an E-Bill Maintenance Specialist at Conservice The Utility Experts®, ensuring efficient maintenance of electronic billing systems. In 2019, Parker served as a Crew Lead at Utah Court Surfacing, overseeing a team in cleaning and applying sport court surfacing for individual and commercial cement pads. Parker also gained experience as a Customer Service and Shipping Specialist at Stander Inc., where they processed and shipped orders while providing excellent customer support. In 2020, Parker worked as a Junior Staff Audit Intern at the Office of the Utah State Auditor, gaining valuable experience in auditing. In 2021, they joined BKD CPAs & Advisors as a Student Associate, further enhancing their accounting skills. Later in 2021, Parker joined WAVE as a Financial Analyst, and over time, progressed to roles such as Accounting Manager and Controller. Parker's most recent role is with OptConnect, where they currently serve as a Financial Controller, demonstrating their expertise in financial management.
Parker Christiansen, CPA, holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Southern Utah University, which was obtained in 2021. Prior to that, Parker completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. This undergraduate degree was obtained between 2017 and 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, Parker Christiansen has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Utah in December 2022.
