Carlos Arteta

Carlos Arteta has a diverse work experience. From 2017 to present, they have worked at Optellum as a Research Lead and Research Scientist. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and DPhil student at the University of Oxford, where their research focused on the application of machine learning techniques for the analysis of microscopy images. Carlos was also involved in the development of mHealth solutions for resource-constrained regions. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Solutions Engineer and Teaching Assistant at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.

Carlos Arteta obtained their Telecommunications Engineering degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello between 2004 and 2009. Carlos then went on to pursue a DPhil in Healthcare Innovation at the University of Oxford between 2010 and 2014, with a focus on machine learning in the analysis of microscopy images for cell-based experiments.
