David Tran

David Tran has over 28 years of experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1992 as a Software Manager at MCI, where they managed a team of 10 developers and designed and implemented software systems to automate the management of optical network inventory provisioning and inventory tracking. In 1997, they joined CTC as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, where they led a software engineering team for new Windows and Server software systems platforms and implemented new product platforms and Scrum-based development methodologies. In 2000, they moved to Fluke Networks as a Business Unit Manager, leading a diverse team and taking full P&L responsibility. David then became a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Fluke Networks in 2004, developing and executing winning products and go-to-market marketing activities. In 2016, they co-founded Optelos, a company that helps enterprises gain insights from visual data. David currently serves as the CEO of Optelos.

David Tran obtained their MBA from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business in 1996, with a focus on Business Development. David completed their Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University in 1992, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same university.
