Karen Hawkins

Karen Hawkins has worked in various roles in the accounting and finance field since 1987. Karen began their career at Taylor Publishing Company as a Cost Accountant in 1987. In 1989, they moved to Luminator as a Cost Accounting Manager. From 1994 to 2003, they worked at Johnson Controls as a Cost Manager/Acting Plant Controller and Intercontinental Manufacturing Company as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. From 2003 to 2007, they worked at General Dynamics OTS as a Controller. Karen then moved to Optex Systems, Inc. where they held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Financial Officer of the Board of Directors, and VP Finance/Controller.

Karen Hawkins attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting & Economics.
