Barak Perelman

Barak Perelman is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with a strong background in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. As Co-Founder and CEO of Opti since August 2023, Barak focuses on making AI accessible to developers. Barak has also been a member of Cyberstarts, a venture capital firm, since March 2020. Prior experience includes serving as VP of OT Security at Tenable from December 2019 to December 2022 and Co-Founder and CEO of Indegy, which was acquired by Tenable. Barak's career began in the Israel Defense Forces as a Software Developer and Team Leader from May 2007 to May 2013, followed by a role in R&D at Stratoscale. Barak holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
