Jodd Readick

Jodd Readick has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jodd began their career in 1989 as a Co-Founder and VP of Operations at Tek Two, where they designed innovative computer telephony switching systems. Jodd then co-founded DMI Communications in 1994, specializing in wholesale calling arcade marketplace and prepaid calling cards. Jodd served as Co-Founder and Chairman, leading negotiations with Bell Atlantic during the CLEC process and transitioning DMI to a full facilities-based carrier.

In 1999, Jodd became Chairman of User Centric Communications, a common carrier offering customer service approaches to medium-sized enterprises. Jodd introduced a revolutionary Customer Bill of Rights and implemented cross-carrier integrated billing. In 2005, they co-founded Vumber.com, a service providing anonymous disposable phone numbers, and raised startup capital for its launch.

Jodd's entrepreneurial journey continued with the role of CEO at Lyme Log in 2017. The medical app they developed helps track symptoms and treatments for chronic Lyme disease patients. In the same year, they also joined Mid Atlantic Bio Angels as a member of the Screening and Deal Flow committees. In 2018, they co-founded Unwired Mobile, which uses blockchain technology for discounted international mobile roaming and telecom service distribution.

Additionally, Jodd served as CTO (part-time) at Trans Click from 2013 to 2020, overseeing technical aspects of the company. Jodd also co-founded the New York Chapter of Keiretsu Forum in 2014 and actively participated in screening prospective companies and providing due diligence.

Most recently, Jodd joined Opti-Harvest, Inc. in 2016 as CTO-Precision Ag AI and IoT. Jodd developed the company's IoT and AI strategy, deployed initial prototypes, and crafted its technical IP strategy.

Jodd Readick obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence from Stony Brook University and Stuyvesant High School between 1972 and 1979.
