Ann Cleves Jain

Ann Cleves Jain is an experienced professional in computational drug design and molecular modeling, currently serving as Vice President of Application Science in the BioPharmics Division at Optibrium since August 2023. Prior to this, Ann held the position of Director of Applied Science at BioPharmics LLC from August 2021 to August 2023. Ann's extensive background includes over 18 years at UCSF as a Senior Staff Scientist, focusing on therapeutic discovery and developing a comprehensive database of protein/ligand interactions. Ann's early career involved roles as a Consulting Biologist at BioPharmics LLC and as a Scientist at MetaXen LLC, contributing significantly to the fields of molecular pharmacology and drug resistance. Educational credentials include a postdoctoral degree in Biochemistry Cell Biology from UCSF and a Ph.D. in Microbiology Cell Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
